Asserting that the best teachers are continuous students and that embodying the teachings can only be done through personal practice, Tula School of Yoga offers a balanced curriculum to develop a strong foundation for the sacred practice of sharing yoga. By studying methodology, philosophy, anatomy, physiology, techniques, and practicum, this training that encompasses the whole of yoga.

See what our graduates have to say about our program!

"Yoga training is a journey. It can go from scary to exhilarating, then back to terrifying all in a minute. Yoga is a complex subject — so much more than just asana — and we delved into various aspects. From anatomy, to the eight limbs, to chakras and so much more. We had posture clinics where we dissected the alignment of each pose. It is intense. If you train with Tula, you will be signing up for an intensive program, but you will feel supported all the way through. The standards are high, but what could be worse than standing in front of a class unprepared? You will have multiple opportunities to practice teach both with the other trainees, and also through team teaching in an actual class. It is a challenge, but you can get through any challenge with the right support. And that’s what I found at Tula yoga teacher training — so much support."

Jeanne Meador, currently teaching several classes in the River Valley.

"If you have ever considered yoga teacher training I would, without a doubt, recommend Tula School of Yoga. The experience was one of the most challenging yet one of the most rewarding opportunities I have had in my life. It increased my passion for yoga ten fold. The training changed my life in a very positive way and I believe helped me discover the person I was born to become. The experience will not be the same for everyone but for me was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Namaste."

"To bring into balance..." Tula School of Yoga believes the practice should bring the mind, body, and spirit into balance, and a yoga teacher should be able to assist others in all of these areas, to find their own way.
